Devlog #3: Movement Tweaks, New Weapon – VA-13 Vanguard, and AI Experiments

Hey everyone!

I’ve been busy making some adjustments and adding new content to REDLINEDECENT, so here’s the latest devlog to keep you all updated on what’s been going on.

Movement Updates

After further testing, I’ve made some tweaks to the movement mechanics. Things are now smoother than ever, with more responsive controls and a better feel overall. This should make moving around the game world even more fluid and intuitive, which is crucial for the fast-paced action I’m aiming for.

New Weapon – VA-13 Vanguard

I’ve added a new weapon to the game: the VA-13 Vanguard, a trusty pistol that players will start the game with. Designed to be reliable and efficient in early combat, the Vanguard sets the tone for the kind of fast, precise action you can expect from REDLINEDECENT. Be sure to give it a try and let me know how it feels!

AI Experiments

On the AI side, I’ve started messing around with some new models. While they’re still early in development, this is an exciting step forward. Once I refine these systems, I’m looking forward to implementing more complex behaviors for enemies in future builds.
